BridgeHours is a platform designed to facilitate respectful, time-based conversations between individuals. We do not provide professional, medical, legal, or therapeutic services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use BridgeHours.

By using the Service, you represent that:

3. Description of the Service

BridgeHours provides tools to:

BridgeHours does not:

  • • Record or monitor conversations by default
  • • Provide counseling, caregiving, or professional advice
  • • Guarantee specific outcomes or relationships

BridgeHours does not provide medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic services.

Participation is voluntary and may be ended at any time.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use BridgeHours respectfully and responsibly.

You agree not to:

  • • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • • Misrepresent your identity or intentions
  • • Use the Service for solicitation, advertising, or exploitation
  • • Share inappropriate, illegal, or harmful content
  • • Attempt to bypass platform safeguards

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these principles.

5. Conversations and Relationships

BridgeHours facilitates introductions and scheduling only.

You acknowledge that:

  • • Conversations are between participants, not supervised by BridgeHours
  • • BridgeHours is not responsible for statements, advice, or actions of participants
  • • You are responsible for your own decisions and boundaries

BridgeHours does not record conversations unless all participants explicitly agree.

For in-person meetings, we strongly encourage meeting in public spaces and following posted safety guidelines.

6. Optional Features and AI Assistance

Some optional features (such as conversation reflections) may use automated tools.

Important notes:

  • • Use of these features is opt-in
  • • Automated outputs are provided for convenience only
  • • Outputs should not be relied upon as professional advice
  • • BridgeHours does not monitor conversations or use automated tools for surveillance

7. Account Management

You are responsible for:

  • • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • • Activities that occur under your account

You may:

  • • Update your information
  • • Pause participation
  • • Delete your account at any time

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or to protect the safety of the community.

8. Institutional and Program Participation

If you participate through a university, community, or organizational program:

  • • Participation requirements may be set by the organizing institution
  • • Institutions may receive anonymized participation data
  • • Conversation content is not shared without your explicit consent

9. Intellectual Property

All platform content, design, and software are owned by BridgeHours or its licensors.

You may not:

  • • Copy, modify, or distribute the Service
  • • Use BridgeHours branding without permission

You retain ownership of content you voluntarily submit, subject to these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

BridgeHours makes no warranties regarding:

  • • Availability or reliability of the Service
  • • Compatibility between participants
  • • Outcomes of conversations

Use of the Service is at your own discretion and risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • • BridgeHours is not responsible for actions or interactions between users
  • • Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid to use the Service, if applicable

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BridgeHours from claims arising from:

  • • Your interactions with other users
